SA Rollercoaster Presentation

Our country always seems to be teetering on the edge of a cliff.  Somehow we never step off the edge, but right now it feels more precarious than it’s been for a while. It’s time to grab the reins together and accept the fact that South Africa will always have big highs and big lows.  Let’s acknowledge the love & hate relationship we have with South Africa and find our way to creating a successful future for all our citizens.

“The SA Rollercoaster” is a fast-paced, upbeat, yet realistic and thought-provoking presentation that will motivate your team to see South Africa through the eyes of opportunity. Brought to you by TomorrowToday and Homecoming Revolution, this 1-hour motivational presentation will help all South Africans feel a little bit better, and be more informed about their homeland.

Buhle Dlamini

Diversity & Organisational Design Expert, TomorrowToday

Raised in a rural village in KZN, South Africa, Buhle beat the odds to become an international entrepreneur and top global speaker.  He has met and worked with iconic leaders like Nelson Mandela and received an award from Desmond Tutu. Buhle is truly global. Not only does he have clients all over the world, but he married a Canadian, adopted a child from the DRC, and has homes in Canada and South Africa. He’s lived internationally, but is a proud SA “homecomer”.

Angel Jones

CEO Homecoming Revolution

Angel was in the London crowd when she heard Mandela say, “I love you all so much, I want to put you in my pocket and take you home.”  She was so inspired by these words that she returned to her motherland after 7 years and started Homecoming Revolution.  Angel’s life’s work is to inspire South Africans to return by hosting inspirational events all over the world to headhunt top talent.  She wouldn’t choose to bring up her children in any other country but here. Angel enjoys practising her Zulu with her kids, sharing stories of diverse South Africans, and playing the djembe drum.

Zanele Njapha

Unlearning Expert, TomorrowToday

Zanele is a passionate South African Millennial who is proving to the world what exceptional young talent South Africa has, and the difference they are making, one small step at a time. Zanele is passionate about educating South Africa, changing mindsets and taking action. She's in love with our country's pristine beaches, a good Durban Bunny Chow and the occasional chocolate steri stumpies.

Faye Tessendorf

MD Homecoming Revolution

Faye returned home from London after 4 years and is passionate about bringing South African skills back home.  She doesn’t underestimate the power of collaboration and has built her network across four continents.  Faye finds it very fulfilling to play an active role in building South Africa’s economy and she is determined to create a prosperous future here  for her two young boys.  She loves travelling to different corners of SA and she never takes for granted the unique smell of our bushveld, clarity of our oceans and friendliness of our people.

Graeme Codrington

Futurist, Expert on the Future of Work, TomorrowToday

Graeme is a 'Homecomer' himself with a 4 years 'UK long stay with his young family' stamped in his passport. Travelling to over 20 countries every year for his work helping his clients understand the future and implement strategic change, Graeme still chooses to live and raise his family in Joburg, South Africa. Graeme is passionate about enhancing and showcasing the cultural and diversity richness that South Africa has to offer, and believes with all his heart (and data) that our country still has a lot of hope that's worth fighting for.

“You brought a smile to our faces and warmth to our hearts. Your message should be out on national TV so every South African can hear it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

- Conference delegate

Let's hear it from the Homecomers
“The best thing about being home South Africa is seeing my sisters, brothers, cousins, grandmother and old friends. I also love the endless supply of different flavours of rooibos tea!”
